Shawn first joined the community in 2015, quickly establishing himself as a dedicated advocate for policy-driven change. Whether advising a House Speaker, operating a political consulting firm, or serving as a grassroots trainer, he has consistently prioritized policy over politics.

Currently, as a Strategic Director with GLA, Shawn leverages his extensive experience to empower staff and activists across the country. He is committed to educating and mobilizing citizens, helping them understand the significant impact they can have on shaping the nation’s future.
