As the Director of Alumni Engagement for GLA, Lyda works with GLA alumni to encourage engagement and lifelong learning within the key institution of government. Before joining GLA, she began her career in higher education, focusing on alumni and student engagement. After receiving her masters in higher education from the University of Mississippi in 2016, Lyda worked at The College of William & Mary, leading young alumni and student philanthropy efforts. She then served as the Director of Student Engagement for the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University.

Lyda is married to fellow GLA trainer Caleb Stokes and together, they have a son, Rowan Stokes. Their passion for travel and community impact makes GLA an ideal partnership for their personal and professional growth.
