Cait Dexter

Grassroots Trainer

Cait is a seasoned advocate for freedom with over a decade of experience as an activist in the broader liberty movement. She attended her first Grassroots Leadership Academy as a participant in 2015, which propelled that journey and equipped her to help drive legislative change on policies including protecting free speech and expanding educational freedom. She studied political science and economics, and nonprofit management at Florida State University. Born and raised in Florida, the state of sunshine and freedom, Cait now advocates for similar economic liberties and educational opportunities across the country. Prior to joining AFP, she worked in external relations for the Foundation for Economic Education, considered the oldest free market think tank. A big believer in community-based solutions, she’s honed the skills of cultivating partnerships and fostering meaningful connections to build strong movements. In her spare time she loves comedy, crafts, and trying to magically convert a balcony garden into a homestead.
